Full Moon in Cancer Reading.

I had wanted to do a Christmas reading for everyone and as a little gift, share a meditation I wrote for my last women’s circle. However, with work deadlines and family things to organise I sadly ran out of time. With so much pressure to always perform we can easily get in the habit of constantly feeling like we have to do things, and if you are trying to run a small business there is also that feeling of having to be on social media all the time. Even just the pressure of not interacting with people enough, which then leads to guilt or even feelings of inadequacy.
This is how I often feel. I see other spiritual type of feminine businesses and they seem to constantly be posting things or creating new content. Then I feel inadequate or stressed because I feel like I haven’t achieved anything. I have so many ideas and so many things I would like to birth into the world as well, but I am training myself to not feel guilty when I don’t do the things I would like to. It’s all about surrender. Surrendering into trust that everything that is meant to be will be in the right time. I also want to add something very important here too. What we see on social media is not always the truth. We are bombarded by images of successful women with perfect hair, make up, clothes and exotic locations. But…that’s not the real world! The real world is a job on top of trying to run a spiritual business, or any business. If you have a family it is endless loads of washing. Meals to cook and a house a to clean. The majority of us don’t have time to post glamorous Instagram posts. And you know what? That’s okay. I have recently been reading about growing a slow and organic business, without social media. For me it is about showing up authentically. I want my readers, my clients and my customers to know that when I do offer something it is about quality and not quantity. I want to connect authentically. So sometimes you will hear from me often and sometimes I will need to retreat for my own mental health, or life duties. If you find yourself in a similar situation, be kind and compassionate with yourself. You are not a robot on automatic pilot!
Oracle of the Rose took me about 2 years to complete. Tarot of the Rose is looking like it may take longer! I am pleased to say however, that today on this Full Moon in Cancer, I actually created The Moon card! When I chose to work on this card today I didn’t even realise it was the full moon until my phone notified of it. I love this app that I have as I get notifications when it’s a new moon or a full moon. You can track the phases and it tells you what sign the moon is in. It even has a moon journal! If you don’t have it you can find it in the App store under Moon Phases and Lunar Calendar.
There are so many things I would like to write about today but I will have to share in another newsletter. The only thing I will say for now is that I am currently undertaking a Death and Dying Consciously course where I will be able to incorporate Sekhem into aiding those who are terminally ill. I have also been shown in a recent meditation another role for me to undertake, and I believe this will be a significant part of my path, and that is aiding earth bound souls to cross over. Also, as of February I am excited to begin Shambhala Warrior training. I have always been fascinated and drawn to the energies of bodhisattvas and I believe this training will help me to embody this energy. For the last 30 years I have felt a higher calling and I feel now that it is finally coming together. I know I am here to be of service to others and with all of my children nearly being adults the time feels right to embark on this journey. So for those of you who feel called to something but feel like things aren’t happening, have faith, it does eventually reveal itself. I had to wait 30 years!

What needs illuminating? I found this so funny, the first card to pop out was Soleil! Clarified by another Sun card!! Definitely things to be brought to light here.
The moon usually signifies things that are in the shadows. These can be our fears, doubts and anxieties. The moon can also be about mystery and magic, and of course feminine cycles. Interesting to note is that the moon is feminine energy whilst the sun is masculine energy. A divine counterpart! The High Priestess is also about mystery and magic coupled with deep intuition and psychic abilities. I feel this is saying that perhaps some of you have not been embracing your gifts, whether of a spiritual nature or creative nature, but remember creativity is spiritual! If you have been hiding in the shadows, too afraid to show the real you, it is time to come out of the shadows and show the world who you are. We all have some sort of gift to offer the world, and it doesn’t have to be grand. What lights you up? (No pun intended!) But what makes your heart sing? What brings you joy and fulfillment? These are the questions that will lead you to your answer.
Perhaps some of you have given up believing in magic or the mystery. I know it can be difficult when things are difficult in our lives for whatever reasons, but these are the times when we need to look for the magic, and the magic is actually found in the mystery. Surrendering is the way to magic. It is having trust and faith that there is a higher power with a greater plan. So, if you have been hiding in the dark, open yourself up to the light that is waiting to shine down upon you. Let the rays slip through the cracks of any walls you may have made and let the light in. Let the light nourish the light that already exists in you. Do something for yourself today that makes you feel as bright as the sun, even soaking up the sun’s rays is nourishing for the soul.
What emotions or thoughts need to be released? This follows on perfectly from the first question. The Decisions card with the Devil card definitely bring to light the obsessive or indecisive thoughts that often can take control of us. The Devil card is also about addictions or of having/doing things in excess.
Here we are being asked to look at what patterns we may be stuck in. Have we been overindulgent over the Christmas holidays, or have we been overindulgent the entire year? If so, we need to be honest with ourselves and then work out how we can move into a healthier state of being, whether that be physically or mentally. Is it time to move on from relationships that really are not serving us anymore? Or maybe, an honest discussion and bringing things out on the table may clear up any misunderstandings. Our mind loves to make up stories but sometimes these stories are so far from the actual truth, they can damage relationships. It’s about knowing what can be saved and what is worth saving.
It is so easy to get stuck on the mental merry-go-round, but if we sit quietly and listen to our hearts, and listen to our intuition, we will know when it is time to get off. Making difficult decisions is how we grow and mature. These are part of our growing pains but when we finally make the decision we need to, we become liberated. Be kind, patient and compassionate to yourself. Treat yourself as if you were helping a beloved one.
Full moons are the perfect time for doing releasing rituals. Make a list or write a letter of what is not serving you at this time, then if you can burn it, burn it and release the ashes. You could also make a paper boat of your letter and release it in the ocean or a river. You could even bury it in the ground as if you were giving it a burial ceremony. This is where you get to use your creativity!
How can I embody my divine feminine energy going into 2024? The message here was clear and simple! Get in touch with your heart…and follow it. Take that leap of faith into the unknown, and to clarify, the unknown is the mystery, and the mystery is where the magic happens! This was a very strong message I received from Yeshua once in meditation. He told me to plant the seeds of intention and then embrace the mystery, because that’s where the magic happens. If we are trying to control the outcome of everything in our life then the only thing we are doing is stopping the flow of what is meant for us. As women we are not meant to constantly be in masculine energy. Our natural state is to be in one of flow and surrender. That doesn’t mean we should just sit on the lounge and do nothing, but instead we should be taking inspired action. This is where cultivating our intuition and connection to Spirit is important. We need to know how Spirit/Source communicates with us. What love language does the Universe use when trying to show us things? It will be unique for all of us. What secret powers do you have?
So for me going into 2024, I want to seriously work on my trust in the mystery. By the way, Yeshua shared with me that the Mystery is the Divine Feminine! How perfect. For many years I was in unhealthy masculine energy, I was in survival mode, and hence constantly trying to force outcomes. In many ways I still am, but I want to change that in the new year. How does that look in practical terms? I am going to set time every day to perform some sort of ritual that grounds me in my spirituality. These will include prayers to the Divine Feminine, including one I have recently written and will share with you in The Temple before the year’s end. I am going to make the time to do more embodiment practices which includes movement such as yoga and dance. Set time to play my frame drum for meditative purposes and take more time to love my body through self massage with fragrant oils, and change my diet! If we don’t make ourselves a priority, who will?
