Zera DeRose is an Australian multimedia artist whose creative spirit thrives on exploring diverse artistic avenues. Her work is deeply personal, drawing inspiration from the things that captivate her heart. Influenced by surrealism, her creations weave together whimsy and romance, reflecting her longing to surround herself, and the world with beauty.
Beyond her art, Zera’s work has evolved into Closing of the Rose, a holistic ceremonial offering that supports women through significant life transitions. Drawing on training in Reiki, Advanced Sekhem, healing drumming, yoni steaming and the traditional practice of Closing of the Bones, she creates grounded and nurturing spaces for integration and renewal.
Through ritual touch, gentle wrapping, anointing, and carefully crafted herbal preparations, each ceremony is designed to help the body soften, the nervous system settle, and the heart feel safely held.
Zera’s approach is steady, compassionate, and deeply respectful of the sacredness of change. Her work supports women to close one chapter with intention and step into the next with greater clarity and embodied strength.
My creative path has blossomed through Oracle of the Rose and Lenormand of the Rose, with Tarot of the Rose now in full bloom. Rooted in romantic surrealism, my art reflects a devotion to beauty, connection, and the timeless.
Beyond creation, my calling is one of service, holding sacred spaces through healing sessions and circles where others may remember their light and the transformative power of love.
