I Dream of Angels
I believe I have never shared my dream of Archangel Ariel. This was back in 2022. She was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. In my dream I was traveling on a bus and looking up at the sky. The clouds were shapeshifting into different animals. Then suddenly the clouds starting taking a different shape and began to move towards me. They suddenly formed into a radiant cloud angel but she also looked like she was made of alabaster. She was an alabaster cloud angel! She kept moving towards me and the moment I realised she was an angel the most glorious rainbow halo started to form around her head. She had such a beautiful smile and was carrying a trumpet. Her beauty made me burst into tears of joy and sadly I woke up. I wasn’t sure which angel she was but I felt that it may have been Ariel. I have a tarot deck that has archangels as the 4 suits. An AA Ariel card jumped straight out! I then went and researched her and all of the things that I had seen in my dream were related to her. It was incredible to say the least. I have had other archangels make themselves known but never in a vivid dream such as this.
Fast forward to the 10th of January, 2024…I was having a very restless night. I just couldn’t fall asleep and then in the early hours of the morning, predawn, I fell asleep. This time I was walking in a crowded place. It was dusk in my dream. I looked up at the sky and the clouds were very unusual. They were like dots or dashes, and there were many of them. Suddenly they took the shape of small flowers, and then they began to spin. As they were spinning they started to move together and just like my Ariel dream, they started to form into an angel. Again her beauty was magnificent and I was awestruck by it. She was shining so brightly and was carrying a lyre. She started to move towards me but her radiance became so bright that I could no longer gaze upon her. I closed my eyes and bowed my head because she shone so brightly. Sadly, I then woke up.
I had a feeling that this time it was Gabriel and after discussing my dream with a dear friend who is a medium, we both felt that indeed it was most likely Gabriel. Just like my Ariel dream I grabbed my angel tarot deck. Sure enough…out pops an Archangel Gabriel card! At the time I felt like I should share this dream but life gets busy and with work commitments, time was getting by and the feeling of needing to share dwindled. However, it was such a powerful dream and thoughts of her never left. She is the angel for writers by the way and yesterday I passed a car with WRIITE on its plates. I knew Gabriel wanted my to write this post and share my dream.
There were a couple of things that struck me about these two dreams, one, they both formed out of clouds, but secondly, they were both feminine! I feel this is very significant at a time where the Divine Feminine is making Her presence known to more people, and I believe particularly to women.
So tonight, apart from sharing these amazing dreams with you, I asked Archangel Gabriel what message she would like me to share with you. After I had shuffled the decks for the message and written it down, I grabbed my angel tarot deck to see if by chance a Gabriel card would come out. Well true to form it certainly did, and not only Gabriel, but 2 Ariel cards!! Plus there was a Gabriel card on the bottom of the deck. What can I say? Of course I don’t believe in chance. I believe in synchronicity and the magic of the spirit world. It never fails to amaze. On to the message from Gabriel, and I guess from Ariel too!
Message from Archangel Gabriel.
Our key message is about self love, and taking the time to meditate, however not just to meditate but to take time to be with yourself. Take time to be in solitude. Take time to sit with your emotions. If you are feeling pain or grief try not to distract yourself from these feelings by doing ‘things’ or mindlessly scrolling on social media, or watching TV. Our pain has important messages for us if we are willing and prepared to sit with them.
Sometimes life stings, but there is medicine in the sting, and just like a bee sting the pain will eventually subside. The way we look at life and our life experience is so important. We can either be the victim, in which case we will stay in a perpetual state of blame and hence we will not grow. Or, we can say, “Well this sucks, but what is the lesson for me in this situation? How can I learn from this and grow? What can I learn?” Can you see the difference? The victim mindset gives your power away. The other perspective of facing our challenges gives us the power! I know it isn’t always easy but to truly evolve as a spiritual being, and we are spiritual beings, just in a physical form while on earth, we need to look at the lesson in our pain. To authentically evolve spiritually we need to realise that we must, at different times of our life, journey to those dark places. However, it is in those dark places that we find the true light. The true source of light that will sustain us no matter the outer circumstances.
There are many horrendous things happening in our world at the moment. I struggle to understand why, and I struggle with what to do, but I am striving towards enlightenment. I am striving to be a vessel of love and peace by facing my own shadows, my fears and my demons. Will I achieve it in this lifetime? Who knows! I am, however dedicated to easing the suffering of others to the best of my ability. I do feel if we all start to strive towards being vessels of love and peace by doing the inner work, then we can tip the scales and start making our earthly home peaceful. If we can create heaven within ourselves, then we will see heaven being created in the world around us. It seems like an impossible task, but if we each start somewhere, we can achieve it, and I feel this is the message Gabriel wants us to have. We can’t control people’s action or behaviour towards us but we can control our reaction and response. We are constantly looking outside of ourselves for happiness, and when we are experiencing pain or grief, we are looking outside of ourselves again for someone or something to blame. However, we are the change we seek. We are the love, joy and peace we seek.
So the message from Gabriel is to take time to be with yourself. Be with your thoughts and feelings. Give them love whether or not they are “good or bad.” Acknowledge them without judgement. Bring them into balance without giving weight to one over the other. Just notice them and let them go. Try not to let the jaws of the negative ego tempt you to jump into them. Create a inner temple of peace so that you will not be caged or imprisoned in negativity and dark thoughts. Create an inner temple of peace, magic and wonder. Together humans can create great destruction but together we can also weave magic and beauty. Each of us has the power of alchemy! Let’s begin turning base metal into gold.
Gabriel is the angel of self love, self worth and communication. She is the angel that can help us with our life purpose and she is the angel of writers and creatives. She can help us communicate and speak what we need to speak. I encourage you to read about Archangel Gabriel and also Ariel. You can call upon them any time for help. In my dreams their love was so palpable. You know what I loved about this reading. All the signs of Gabriel were actually in the cards themselves…the yellow in the King of Pentacles. Yellow is one of her colours. Self Love and she is an angel of self worth. The Mirror card which is about self reflection, and writing! You can’t make this stuff up!
This post has already ended up quite long, and I have so much I would love to share with you. The last few weeks has been extremely active spirit wise. I do have one bit of exciting news to share quickly… I have commenced a fourth deck! It will be an ancestor deck and I think it is going to be a deck that will really help you go deep into ancestor work. I am really excited about this. Here is a sneak peak of the direction it is taking, and aren’t the faces of the pets just too funny?!
